Acting for the owner of this multi-let office block we inspected the roof and identified and oversaw essential maintenance works.

We were asked to carry out an initial roof inspection for the owner of this multi-let office building on a business park on the outskirts of Salisbury. Our inspection was carried out by our telescopic camera pole due to an area of restrictive airspace preventing our drone being flown. We identified a number of issues with the roof, including cut edge corrosion and corroded fixings to the roof covering along with design defects to the gutter cloaking and cladding trims. Our professional report outlined the issues and recommended remedial action along with budget costs for the works.

Following this Bressummer A.R.K. were instructed to draw up a specification of works, manage the tender process and oversee the building contract through the construction phase.

Our dynamic team overcame the barriers of not being able to fly a drone over the building by using a telescopic camera pole, to provide a detailed visual inspection of the roof and high level elements. This allowed the accurate identification of defects and production of an informative report to give our customer the most appropriate recommendations to protect their asset.

Using are experience in the sector we produced a suitable specification of works to allow the works to be competitively tendered. We used our network of trusted contractors to gain competitive quotes for the works and produced a tender report which analysed the tender returns and provided further advise on award of the contract. We then used our expertise to act as contract administrator during the construction phase making sure the works were completed accordingly.
